Tis' the Season for Kids Christmas Crafts

GRANDVILLE, Mich.––December is here already! Thanksgiving has passed us by, Black Friday is over, and the holiday season is in full swing. Even though the snow is sparse, the Christmas cheer is in the air. The Christmas parade will roll through and the tree will be lit tonight in Grandville signifying a season of love and giving. 1. Yarn Wrapped Christmas Tree Ornaments

You can create a cute and puffy snowman, or add colors or a different type of glitter to change things up. Beware, glitter can easily get everywhere!

3. Bird Seed Ornaments

These are the type of ornaments for your trees outside! Place near a window, so you can watch all the little birdies enjoy their Christmas treat. 

4. Bow Tie Noodle Wreath

How cute are these?! You can customize with different types of noodles or ribbon, if you please. Again, beware the glitter! 

5. Coffee Filter Snowflakes

These are the essential Christmas/winter craft, made out of something you might already have - coffee filters! Make sure to monitor scissor and sharp object use. 

6. Pine Cone Christmas Trees

These can be decorated with pompoms, old necklace beads, or simply topped with a star! 

7. Clothespin Snowmen

These adorable pins can be hung almost anywhere, including the Christmas tree! Let your kids paint them, or paint them ahead of time for a quick craft. 

8. Gingerbread Play Dough

You may not be able to decorate your home in play dough, but you can whip this recipe up and keep the kids distracted while you wrap gifts, shop online, etc.! 

9. Graham Cracker Mini Houses

Instead of making on big gingerbread house, have the kids make many mini graham cracker houses and display them as a little village. 

10. 3D Construction Paper Reindeer

All you need is to safely cut the pieces for the reindeer and watch the tutorial to see how to put it together, then your kids can go to town! Use these as fun gift tags or Christmas cards.
