Meet SAIC Volkswagen's little Teramont, the Tharu revealed to Chinese Authorities for Accreditation. This pint sized 'Peoples SUV' as Volkswagen bill the Tharu. Will launch later this year to the Chinese market and other markets from 2020.
Tharu has dimensions Length 4453mm, Width 1841mm, Height 1632mm (1.4T) 1620mm (1.2T) & Wheelbase 2688mm (1.2T) 2680mm (1.4T) similar to sister brand's Skoda Karoq SUV Length 4432mm, Width 1841mm, Height 1614mm & Wheelbase 2688mm
Tharu for China will be offered with two petrol engines, a 1.2T with 85kW and a 1.4T with 110kW mated with VW's 7 speed DSG transmission. Other highlights will be a rear view camera, beats audio sound system package as well as LED headlights on top line models as revealed in the pictures.
