Best Places to Ski and Snowboard in Lower Michigan





GRANDVILLE, Mich.,––After a long last week of bitter cold temperatures, this wildly mild weather seems like a dream. Boyne Highlands

Drive Time: About 3 hours 20 minutes from Grandville 
Boyne Highlands offers 55 runs and a handful of terrain parks, plus tubing! 



Crystal Mountain

Where: Thompsonville, MI
Drive Time: About 2 hours 5 minutes from Grandville
Crystal Mountain has 58 trails or runs with 27 lit for night skiing/snowboarding, plus they've been rated as a 2017 top 12 ski resort for families in the U.S. and Canada by Conde Nast Traveler. 


Treetops

Drive Time: About 3 Hours from Grandville
Treetops is a smaller resort offering about 23 runs, a big tubing run, and a homey resort. It's a great place for little ones to learn. 


Nub's Nob

Nub's Nob is home to 53 ski runs as well as nordic ski trails and 3 fun terrain areas.
