GRANDVILLE, Mich.,––Have you ever seen a small car where the clowns just don't stop coming out and you're left to wonder how they all fit in the car in the first place? Think of the Honda Fit as that clown car - small, yet spacious. In Honda's latest campaign, targeting "highly-connected, socially-driven" viewers, the 2018 Honda Fit is showcased as Fit for Fun. This creative new campaign highlights a few notable aspects of the newest Fit, coming to dealerships soon. Let's take a look!
First you see a scene set with a bright orange 2018 Honda Fit Sport. The Sport trim, new to the 2018 model, offers styling touches inside and out including a leather-wrapped shift knob, 16" black alloy wheels, a chrome exhaust tip, underbody spoilers, steering wheel paddle shifters, and black sport cloth seats with orange stitching.
Next you see everyone rushing around to grab every item in the scene, stuffing it into the Honda Fit. This is to highlight it's versatile cargo space. While it seems like a small car on the outside, it sure isn't on the inside. The 2nd-Row Magic Seat allows drivers to arrange the seats in four different ways. The back seat row can fold completely flat, the rear seats can fold up - as shown below, and even the front seats can recline all the way back.
The Fit is aimed to meed the needs of multicultural millennials, which happens to be the largest and most diverse buying group in the market. By focusing on promotions through social media and other platforms, such as the streaming service Hulu, Honda hopes to catch the attention of these individuals - especially since 70% of Honda Fit purchasers are new to the Honda brand! Some of the other features millennials might enjoy: the great fuel efficiency, the advanced technology like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the driver assistive technologies included in all trims of the 2018 Fit.
